DevSecOps / Platform Engineer

I build and deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.

I work across AWS, Linux, Kubernetes, and CI/CD with a focus on clean boundaries: development on the workstation, artifacts in the registry, and runtime in the cluster.

  • Kubernetes Deployment + Service + Ingress (Traefik)
  • CI/CD pipeline → GitHub Actions → GHCR
  • Persistent storage via PVC (SQLite)

DevSecOps engineer building toward platform engineering through real systems.

My background is in AWS GovCloud, Linux administration, CI/CD, and regulated infrastructure. I’ve provisioned multi-node RHEL environments with CloudFormation, prepared systems for Kubernetes workloads, configured EBS and NFS storage, and worked within STIG and change-control constraints.

More recently, I’ve been focused on owning the application lifecycle end-to-end: local runtime, containerization, image distribution, Kubernetes delivery, ingress, and persistence. I care less about collecting tools and more about understanding how each layer behaves when it breaks.

A Kubernetes-deployed application with CI/CD, ingress routing, and persistent storage, built to understand the full lifecycle from local development to cluster runtime.

  • Containerized the app with Podman and published images to GitHub Container Registry
  • Deployed with Kubernetes Deployment, Service, and Traefik Ingress using host-based routing
  • Mounted a PersistentVolumeClaim at /app/data so SQLite data survives Pod recreation
  • Automated image builds and publishing with GitHub Actions
